Vista64 Ultimate RSAT/kb941314 Fails

Ok, I have the only 64bits on my network and so here is where the problem started. I asked by Comm. folks how to install Admin Pak for ADUC, they sent me the AdminPak.msi with a cmd script that would register it...but we were not thinking 32 vs 64, needless to say it didn't work. So I did some digging around and found the RSAT kb941314 for x64 and ran it...many times so far...gets about 95% on the progress bar and then I see ...failed! kb941314 installation failed! I have gone in and tried to turn on RSAT via "Programs and Features, Turn Windows features on or off" and here I get "an error has ocurred, not all of the features were successfully changed" here I only have checked the RSAT box. Then tried to run the kb again...failed! So I don't have Admin Pak, I don't have RSAT but at least I have ADUC on my 1 Server 2008, 2 Server 2003 servers (Admin Pak) but I'd really like to figure out 1. how to uninstall the attempted Admin Pak install that is probably causing this mess. 2. Get the kb941314 to install and run RSAT. Thanks for your help in advance.

First try classic uninstallation

Control Panel>>Program and Features>>View installed updates :uninstall RSAT

RSAT does not show up in the installed updates as it fails to install (as I described in my post)thus I cannot uninstall it

The best way choose any older check point.

Thanks for the suggestion but that won't work as the machines that I manage are routinely cleaned, backed up and reimaged etc. and so there are no restore points to go back to. What I really think is the culprit is the failed attempt to get the 32bit Admin Pak to run via the script that I wrote of. If I could just reverse that script and get it to unregister then I might have a chance of getting RSAT to install and run.
