vista wont shut down.

Hi all: I am trying to figure out why my vista will not shut down. I also get windows explorer not responding messages every once in a while. I have service pack 1 and only have 1.0 gb of ram and was wondering if this could be the problem. Help.....:cool:

wow...you're running vista with only 1 GB of ram? i didn't even know that was possible...maybe explorer is crashing because at some point, all of your available memory is being used...what exactly happens when you try and shut down?
