I have literally spent all day researching forums, posts, blogs, and tech sheets trying to figure this out.
I have an HP dv9925nr notebook. Vista 64. Broadcom 4321AG adapter. SMCwgbr-14-N wireless router.
My XP laptop works fine in wireless mode.
My HP/Vista laptop just got back from surgery, was working in wireless mode on this connection before, but after a system restore it is not. When I first got it a year and a half ago I remember going through many pains to get this problem figured out, but now I can't remember what I did to fix it!
When I connect, I can't get onto more than a couple of websites before it stops working (although it still says that it's connected to the router).
I can connect it in wired mode to the router with no problems.
I verified that I have the latest driver for the wireless adapter.
I have all the latest updates from Windows.
Any suggestions that doesn't include buying Windows 7?
Thanks in advance.
Todd
