Hey. For some reason Vista decides to re-format itself to some degree when I log-on to my User area. I get the message "Preparing Desktop" when logging & then I'm welcomed by a default screen. I lose all of my User files & most on the main harddrive, although the second one is fine. All my programs are also set to default/first run, for example Firefox is always on firstrun when I load it, So it has no bookmarks & such.
The first time I logged on today I got a small message along the lines of "Your data could not be loaded correctly.". Following this I did a quick System Restore to 2 days back, but to no success.
The PC has been running fine of late, with daily anti-virus check ups, & it booted fine. Help is appreciated.
