Vista SP1 causes BSOD and other errors.

I installed SP1 on my friends computer which I built and it caused it to start spitting errors left and right to me constantly rebooting itself to a blue screen. I did a repair from the CD managed to go back to a restore point, attempted to install SP1 again and same thing hapenned. I did a repair a couple more times fiddled around and started it up again. I picked up error codes and attatched some dumps. I attatched a txt with an error code that I got when I first came back, and the minidumps. Thanks guys.

Minidumps are only usefull if you plan to debug the code, The only real valuable info is the BCCode displayed in the dialogue

It would also help to describe the hardware and OS setup

Bug Check 0x3B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

The SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION bug check has a value of 0x0000003B. This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code.

Cause

This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.

Resolution

Install the latest BIOS update for your motherboard, found at the manufacturer site... Check no services have been disabled or modified, uninstall all programs that have created 3rd party services (ATI, NVidia and other programs) until after SP1 is installed and also only install the latest graphics drivers

I am going to try that out, ill reinstall Windows, update it completely before I put any drivers in. Ill upgrade the BIOS too. There is also one little problem, the hard drive at certain times not often, makes a very faint squeek, i am suspecting that the reader/writer is touching the disk.

I do not remember the mother board model, it is from Asus and its a socket AM2 mini itx.
