Vista Reinstall Dvd

hi

i bought a pc from a shop and had no disks included, vista home premium was already installed on the machine, i now need to boot up from the cd to run the first aid to try and fix problems i have, worst case scenario wipe the machine and start again but i have no disk.

how do i do this is there somewhere on my machine to create a cd/dvd or can i borrow my friends and use that

please help

You can go to your manual and see how to restore to factory specs. Just like the day that you bought the computer.

If you tell us what problems you are having, we may be able to fix them, saving you the re-install.
There is not a lot that cant be fixed on Vista.

Yes, just like the day you brought it home. But back up first. Based upon your post there are not a lot of options. However, if you want to work with us we have a lot of tools at our disposal.

Look at the early posts, I gave you the link to download a recovery dvd.

Before trying to go to factory specs you should try this first to remove malware:

Try using AVG rescue CD, its a bootscanner without loading windows, so the scan can detect malware without the malware even noticing it. I recommend that you look up some tutorials for it first on google.

-Like i said, the only good thing that came out of AVG's company.

just to clear then guys

ive downloaded the recovery dvd torrent iso, im going to burn it on cd and try repair startup if this fails ive backed up my computer so it ready for a new install,

i reset it to factory settings by

"Here are recovery instructions for HP/Compaq laptops.

1. Reboot, and repeatedly press F10 at the HP logo until the recovery screen appears.
2. When the recovery screen appears, press "Next" and then "Yes" to perform a non-destructive recovery.
3. To perform a destructive recovery, click "Advanced" and then "Yes".
4. After the recovery is finished, the laptop will reboot."

i notice this is for laptop i presume desktop pc's are the same

If you want to try factory specs that is the way to go. If it does not work, problably the information in the link that I gave you is old. You can check online (we will help if necessary) for current information.

Before you play with reinstall or Recovery make sure that you have the CD Key for the OS.

If not you can retrieve it using Magical Jelly Bean Software - Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder v2.0.1

make sure that you Write down the Key somewhere for Future purposes.

I REALLY DON'T recommend doing this, with a crack, but download one with bittorrent and thepiratebay. Then burn it to a DVD. DO NOT ABUSE/USE ILLEGALLY
