Hello there!
Recently (not that recently) I lost some files in my Windows folder which has caused a bit of instability and an annoying problem with things going into pagefiles a lot (among other things). Unsure how or why it happened (and at such a length of time ago it's too late to revert) I have recently found my computer's Recovery disc for my Vista64bit. Being a newby with these kind of things and wanting to keep everything on my computer (AKA no formatting) I was wondering if there was a way I could use it to repair my OS (thereby reverting it back to the disc format) while keeping everything.
I know that sfc is useful and all that fun stuff, is there a way I can use it with the recovery discs?
(I have another topic but since the title is different and no longer relates to the subject itself I felt it was best to make a new topic)
And here's my specs, courtesy of CPU-Z.

Thanks for the help and if you need any clarifying or more information on something just ask!
