Vista RAID Help!

Hi there,
I'm running a dual boot system... Originally I had only Vista Ultimate x64 installed on this system... I got some new audio hardware that only worked with XP, so I picked up a 1tb drive, and installed XP Pro 32 bit on it. I got the Vista boot loader to find my XP partition using EasyBCD. No problems at all. Now, I needed faster hard disk performance, so I picked up 3 WD 750gb Caviar Black drives to work with my motherboards on board RAID controller (Nvidia controller setup for RAID 5) (Motherboard is an ASUS P5n32-e SLI Plus). Ok, problem one. When I enable my RAID controller I can no longer boot into Windows XP, but booting into Vista is no problem whatsoever. If I go into my bios and disable the RAID controller dual boot is back in action. Second... I can't get Vista to see my RAID drive. I installed the Nvidia drivers, and all that jazz, and the Nvidia control panel crashes as soon as it opens in Vista. No OS is to be installed on this RAID array, it's strictly a scratch/storage disk for multi tracking audio with Pro Tools (Very heavy disk load). If you can help me out, I would very appreciative of it! I'll be here working on it all day today.
Thanks!

Ok, so I started running Vista updates... This system hasn't been online in a year or two, so I got SP1 for Vista and a few others... I installed a few of the Nvidia RAID driver updates out of the list, and BAM now it hangs at startup. Safe Mode? I think not... It hangs on Crcdisk.sys now. I looked it up, and people that are having trouble with that file seem to be having big problems. I booted off my Vista DVD and am trying to do startup repair while NOT doing the option that it offered me about removing recently installed programs, etc, etc. I'll let you know how it goes! Someone has to be able to offer me some good words here. PLEASE!
