My daughters computer did that a couple of months ago. Went into an endless boot cycle. Unfortunately it was the HDD going bad and subsequently caused problems with the rest of the hardware. Ended up making "D" new "C" drive but also had to add a addin Sata card to connect drives to as MB HDD connections were now inop, having to do clean install and everything has been fine since.
Believe me I am one of those that will try almost anything to avoid having to do a clean install, but sometimes no choice.

Do not worry if you cannot see the BSOD, just upload the contents of the:

"C:\Windows\Minidump"

folder in zip format and we will take a look at your BSOD.

yea hmm it says it (((Windows cannot find C:\Windows\Minidump . Cheak spelling and try again))))) so there no way i can upload the contents of a folder that its saying its not there at all so that link was not helpfull at all

My Computer

If you are trying to search for the folder, or use Command Prompt, just manually direct Windows Explorer to the location, copy the folder onto your desktop, then zip it up and upload.

Hi,

I have analysed your Minidump:

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
STOP: 0x0000003b

First, try to update your graphics card driver, your chipset driver if you can, and as many other drivers as possible. Run Memtest86+ or another memory testing tool that came with your computer. Make sure all windows updates and service packs are installed. Download and run the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

You also have quite a few old drivers that need to be updated:

2006:
mdmxsdk.sys
xaudio64.sys
secdrv.SYS
peauth.sys
Null.sys
swenum.sys

2007:
nvraid.sys
PxHlpa64.sys
nvsmu.sys
nvmfdx64.sys
int15_64.sys

Can you also upload the results in .txt format of this tool: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/176785-vistaforums-sysinfo-tool.html

Thanks,

Richard

Richard;

Can you do me a favor and look at the attached Code. docs and attempt to assertain why one of the svcs host (local) would be causing me intermittant problems. This Am was on the computer with Internet access. Got done, went to bed. When I got up later, activated the computer from sleep, not only was the CPU showing continous 26% to 49% usage but it was now disconnected from the internet and windows diagnostics could/would not identify the problem. I could not manually connect and was limited as to what I could do. Applications/processes showed the local service to be utilizing 25% of CPU @ the time. Had something to do with remote desktop but have been unable to determine if it is because of daughters networked computer or outside sorce. Ended up doing a restart to not only stop the process but also reconnect to the internet.

Because of your system tools link, thanks, was I able to provide the attached file. Also there is a minidump of the actual svc process.

Unable to upload zipped file of minidump.

Let me upload later as the only zipping/unzipping programs I have are Zipeg and RAR and it won't let me upload them. Will try to find a free zip program.

Hi,

Use the free 7-Zip and encode in .zip format NOT .7z. If this is going to turn into a medium-long multi reply problem, can you please create a new thread. This will also have the benefit of your thread appearing for the whole forum to read. If you do create a new thread, send me a PM with the link.

Richard

Richard, Sorry that I missed your reply but was trying to get the DMP file now zipped uploaded but for whatever reson it won't upload. It's only 24K KB and zipped so I'm at a loss. Will take suggestions as it is the mini dump file from the svc host process that I believe is causing the problem.

Make sure you copy the Minidump to your Desktop first THEN zip it up. There are problems uploading files from System directories etc.

Also, if you really cannot upload the zip file, copy the Minidump to your desktop, rename it to .txt and try to upload that. Do nothing else to the Minidump and make no change whatsoever to the file.

Tried twice to upload it, went thru the process but came back as failed to upload. Have changed to txt, but is now over 82MB and was disconnected from the website while attempting to upload. I attempted evan tho figured to be oversize.

Let me take a break and drop back and punt.
