Hi,
Recently i have been getting BSOD randomly on my PC and it reboots, i did write the error code down to look into but unfortunately have lost it.
Anyway, now the problem has got worse when i go to log into the machine it just freezes, sometimes i'm lucky enough to see the desktop but as soon as i click something it freezes. If i boot up in safe mode then it logs in fine.
When i originally kept getting the reboots i did a memory test which came back fine and also a quick test on the Hard drive which came back fine. I have also took out the sticks of memory and tried them one at a time and still suffer the same problem, so i'm starting to move away from the issue being memory. When i logged in, in safe mode i turned off most of the 'start up' programs incase it was an issue with too many programs trying to start but the problem still exists.
Has anyone got any advice to try? The machine is running Vista Home Premium with 4Gb Ram. I have never had any trouble with the machine up until now, it is a few years old though, so could be a hardware component starting to fail but i dont want to go spending money changing bits only for it to not rectify the issue.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
