does vista not accept outlook express? I tryed installing it it would not accept it. Can anyone offer any advice on this?

You cannot install Outlook Express onto Vista it comes with it's own email client Windows Mail.
A better option would be to install Windows Live Mail which has more features and can handle all your email, newsgroups and RSS Feeds.

Outlook Express is kinda old and hasnt been updated for a while. Best bet is to do as stated above, use Windows Live Mail or Windows Mail.

Vista Windows Mail is basically Outlook Express 7 - Vista style. You can set it up exactly the same way and it will accept backups from OE6.
