Ok guys need some help here. I have a home network 5 XP home computers and one Vista 64 laptop. Two of the XP machines are hardwired to router - including the main one with the printers on it. All the rest are wireless. My router is wrt350n linksys. All the XP machines can see all other computers in workgroup and access same EXCEPT the DAMN VISTA machine! The XP's can see it but not access it -- ie I get "cannot access permissions not right contact administrator". The vista machine, on the other hand cannot see ANYTHING!. However when I map the network on the vista machine I can see the other XP computers. I just cannot access them.
I have beat on this problem for a couple of weeks. The XP machines all have lltd protocal runnning and SP3. All are in the same workgroup, all file sharing and printer sharing have been set and reset ad naustiam, I have reset my router updated firmware, uninstalled and reinstalled networking. I have run out of ideas. I have look on the web for hours trying all I can find. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be welcome.
Thanks
