I have a Pavilion DV5 1110el (ita) + internal Avermedia (device A309) DVB-T.
Suddenly Vista Media Center got crazy and when I click on TV the mouse pointer waits forever (rolling circle) and can't connect. VMC at this point simply locks up forever. The strangest thing is that it works fine everytime I resume from standby/hibernation/reboot, but then if I start VMC a second time 5 mins later and click on TV it will lock up and I have to put it in standby again to resume and "unlock" it...
I have no codecs troubles and haven't installed anything in the last few days. I also tried to remove/uninstall all codecs, shell extensions, and programs like Cyberlink Powervideo 6, QuickPlay 3.x etc. but nothing solved the problem. Device manager says the driver v1.0.0.46 from HP is ok and always working but it looks like a software problem of VMC and its components (ehrecvr.exe service etc.), maybe.
Someone's idea?
