Recently My laptop has started acting strange. I can no longer connect to Wireless networks. Nor can I even detect them. On the front of my computer theres the switch to turn the wireless network on or off, regardless of the position the switch is in, I cannot see or connect to any wireless networks. I have tried dowdloading the drivers from the HP website but that does not work, I had also tried updating drivers through the computer management snapin.

If anyone could give me some insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.

You have to go to the manufacturer about this problem. Manufacturers with systems like that that have special programs and buttons, you have a low chance of finding a specific fix to a vendor-specific problem from a non-vendor-specific board.

Myself, I'd recommend a system restore to a prior restore point, one where you know your computer worked.

I actually restored the computer to how it came from the factory with the restore partion and it didnt work.

Run HP Health Check.

Also, update your BIOS and your Ethernet drivers.
