Vista Driver Issues!!!

Vista driver help needed!!! I just aquired a used homebuilt computer. It seems to run ok but I am unable to access the internet. I get an error saying no drivers found. I accessed the Intel site and downloaded the drivers for my system onto a flashdrive and then loaded onto the problem computer. However, when I tried to install them I got an error saying I have no adaptors. How do I correct this?

Also, I know I have an Intell motherboard but how to I ID which board I have? It has a couple of tags on it but which is the one stating the model board. Is it teh P5GC-MX/1333 tag?

That Belarc site is great. Thanks for the lead. IT told be some stuff I didn't know, but it says it discovered no network drives. The computer was able to access the net previously with no issues, but due to other issues we chose to reinstall Vista. Then the problems started. After no success installing the drivers we tried reinstalling Vista in case the problem was a faulty install but again we have the same problem. It will not allow us to install the drivers due to no adaptors.

OK,

In that case, it sounds as though the network port/ card on the motherboard has failed. Do you have a spare network card you can install?
