I am searching for a faster way to move one or more lines of photos, using my windows photo gallery or ms digital editing, within a folder. I know that i can use the ctrl key held down while left-clicking on each photo -- and then dragging the selected photo-string to the desired location.
But i have a big job with over a thousand photos, many of which were
imported to my hard drive to the right folder but wrong location. I have looked for a way to re-order the photos in their correct numerical order but have not found that tool. Now i am looking for a way to select, e.g.,
30-40 photos ( or perhaps 150) and then dragging them to the correct location. I know the correct set of keys exists because a friend showed me this some years ago. But i have forgotten it.
