vista basic

hello friends

I E will open ok but will not close its vista basic
firefox works great. just the I E will not close,

tryed restore and re boot tryed F8 on re boot, tryed to repair windows, on re boot.
what else can i try, any help please

Hi, exactly what happens when you try to close, like does it freeze, or does nothing happen at all, after trying to close IE can you still use it, also, have you tried using the task manager to close it?

Also, what version of IE are you using, 6 or 7?
