Vista 64bit Wireless Networking Help

Hi all, first time here and banging my head against a wall atm....

New PC arrived - Vista 64bit and I'm now on my third Wireless device to try get networking working and tearing my hair out.....

I was told the Edimax 7128g PCI Card will definately work, but I've just got it out of the box and it states it's basically 32bit....Edimax site don't show 64bit drivers either...

So, looks like I'm knackered again.....

Help I'm after is - how can I get wireless networking working on my Vista 64bit Home Premium PC?

If anyone has advice of products and drivers they use, it'd be appreciated.....
Or, if there's any advice around getting a driver or driver set for my Edimax card?

As an edit:
I'm using a Linksys Router and Virgin Cable (UK Based), working fine. Wireless on the router is spot on with other devices connecting wirelessly ok.
I have plugged the 64bit pc direct into the router, and this works fine...picks up IP from dhcp and away it goes.....

So main focus is finding a wireless solution for the P.C. as it won't be near the router in my house when it's fixed up....

Regards,

- Drago

Fixed

Ok, managed to get this working now through trial and error....The basic driver works and can access internet, but when trying to do any gaming, it usually crashes.

Driver I found was through Windows Update and this is working, both for internet and gaming...

It is strange that all 3 wireless cards you tried would not work until you downloaded the latest driver for the 3rd card.

Glad to hear that you're up and running now,
