System was running, and I put a 'system mechanic' disk in the tray,but didn't put the tray into the computer. I did something else, and then started a reboot, forgetting about the disk. The tray promptly closed and the system started the reboot, but hung up with a message'"Press DEL to run SetUP, Press TAB to display Bios Post Message."
Stuck there. Reboots get the same message. I put the original install disk in, and get the same message. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse, and they don't seem to be active. Tried to use a hard connect keyboard. same results. Using my wife's computer running on xp pro now, and can download and copy disks if that is a solution.
