vista 64 networking error

windows vista 64 is a POS.
I can not get on to the internet even with static IP DNS and gateway details.
I only get "local onlny network"

This is driving my nuts. My ubuntu install can get on to the internet. Both on the same machine.

I can ping 127.0.0.1
and my static ipaddress 192.168.1.33
but nothing else.

Any one got any ideas?

It's got to be something with the IP settings... Have you tried letting DHCP assign your IP address?

Hi Syborfical,

Open a elevated CMD prompt and type ipconfig /all and paste the results here...

This problem usually happens when you have the wrong network drivers
