I have been searching for answers and even tried a few without a fix. I have a dual boot XP x32/Vista x64U with a router, SP1 is installed. XP is fine...but under Vista 64 Firefox, IE7 and Outlook Email will not connect (unable to find server). The LAN is fine..just Outlook, IE & FF, I can connect using IE7 and the path in Control Panel - Internet Options - Connections -Setup - "Connect to Internet. This problem arose after the SP1 install.
I use Comodo V3 & NOD32 (no logged events)
The problem appears to be communications with my Netgear router..as in no relpy. DNS??. Assist would be gratefully recieved.

I'm not sure if my problem is related to the other reported connection faults and whether the ipv4 fix is the answer??
Today I am able to connect using IE7-64bit and no worries..Outlook and Firefox are still no go.
Any help..please.

Not many answers...some viewers.
If others are having a similar problem...I got mine working, very wierd. After trying many fixes I reset all settings that had been changed, mainly ipv function on the ethernet connection and then because IE7 64bit was the only connection that worked, I made it my default browser....and that did it...Outlook, Skype and Firefox are working.
Explan please...anyone?

I had the same issue. firefox hanging randomly (but not working longer than few minutes), IE7 shortly after that. i'm not sure but thunderbird seemed to be stopping too.
I uninstalled NOD32 3.x (64bit edition) and it looks that everything's fine now.
I will have a try with NOD32 4.
strange thing...
