So, Utorrent keeps not responding after like 3 hours of running. I close it but it the task manager, it says its still running with *32 next to it. So does IE when I close that. They close visualy, but they dont close in the task manager and keep running. I cant open a new Utorrent because it says its still running. I havto keep restarting my computer.

Its a new computer (only like a week old) so WTF do I do? It driving me nuts

I have the 64 bit vista...

Looks as tho no 32 bit program gets terminated (or atleast the ones with the *32 next to them. WTF do I do?

Utorrent is still writing out what you are downloading or uploading that is why it stays in the task manager for a while. Also does it end the process when you close the process.

No. It keeps it still active in the task manager. Same with IE. Atleast with IE I can open a new IE. But with Utorrent, it says its still running. I mean, it keeps not responding, then I terminate it, it goes away visualy, but not in the Task Magager. I tried to close it when it was responding but it does the same thing. I cant open a new one because it still says its running. It doesnt even gain in memory. It stays the same.

I just spent 650 bucks to get this computer and now this... Everything else is PERFECT besides this. I leave my computer on overnight to seed but not I cant do anything because what I stated and because it keeps not responding

Look in the processes tab of the task manager and you need to end the process there so you can start utorrent back up.

Thats what Ive been doing. End Process and End Process Tree. And it wont fully shut down the program and remove it. Ive done it and have hadto restart like 4 times. I mean, I dont belive its a problem with Utorrent or else I would have found someone with the same problem on their site.

:EDIT: i FOUND THIS It seems like utorrent.exe is already running but not responding - Forums - µTorrent - The Lightweight and Efficient BitTorrent Client But I am the admin... Im flabergasted.
