Video FoldeR?

Hi, I accidentally deleted my video folder in "C:\Users\username"

So i went to recycle bin and it wasn't there.. so then i search for a movie that was on that folder i deleted, and it found it, though it wouldn't let me open it, i right-click and select open file location and wouldn't find it.

any help appreciated, thanks.

Hello Dan, and welcome to Vista Forums.

See if typing in shell:My Videos in the Start Menu search line and pressing enter can restore the folder for you. You may need to restart a few times afterwards. If not then this tutorial may be able to help you restore it.

shell:My Video gets my folder back, but not the files :\. Do i have to use a recovery program, is there any free out there?
