Anyone with the VIA VT6421 chipset sucessfully use sata 3.0 hdd's without jumper shunts? Apparently the SATA 3.0 is backwards compatible with 1.5, but there have been issues with the VT6420 and VT6421L.
I just ordered two WD Scorpio 320Gb 7200RPM sata 3.0 HDD's of newegg for RAID 0, and I am wondering if Iam going to have to find some jumper shunts in order to get these drives working.
