Hi,
The other day was cleaning my machine so pulled all cables etc out to tidy them up.
When i have plugged everything back in cannot get the machine to boot to windows. go through a couple of DOS messages and they comes up to the sreen where is says "Verifying DMI Data Pool" and just hangs
I have tried to reinstall windows on the drive but i go into dos and select boot from cd and it still just hangs at the "Verifying DMI Data Pool"
So i tried it with another HDD and its fine will boot from the CD then im able to do a clean install of windows.
Is there anyway i can fix the old HDD as i have plugged it in as a 2nd HDD and works fine but i need to fix it as i need to get emails from outlook and get my firefox bookmarks
Thanks for any help
