I am running Vista Home Premium on a 64 bit system with 2 hard drives. C I use for Vista O/S and all Program software, D I use for all my data. Accordingly I have created folders on D to accept this data (Documents, pictures etc.)
Vista is configured so that folders like Documents, Pictures, Music etc are located on C drive by default. Consequently, to locate or save data on D I have to navigate my way out of C each time.
Is there a way I can get Vista data files to default to D? Is the solution as simple as moving Vista's data files from C to D? Would appreciate your comments.
