USB Drivers

Hello , my usb ports have stopped working on my dell latitude D600 and i have the full version of driver detective and i have 64x and a 86x file for the USB drivers and i dont know how to install them so any could help that would GREAT! :D

i cant find any drivers for your laptop at Dell only XP versions?

your USB drivers come with your chipset drivers usually ive no idea what you have downloaded , i personally dont trust any driver search software its misleading and frankly a bit rubbish.

could you goto device manager

hit start

right click computer

select properties

top left select DEVICE MANAGER

at the bottom of the resulting list you should have "universal serial bus controllers"

does it have a yellow exclamation mark by it?

if not click the pluss sign and see if you see any there , if not theres nothing wrong with your drivers

we can take it further after that
