hello...i have a HP Pavillion d4-1125nr vista home premium 64....those ppl at the best buy didn't know how too get the upgrade either..they were trying too hard too get me too buy alot of extra maintanace packages, that an in store geek would try too fix...don't do it...i upgraded too service pack 2 when i bought this pc lap back in 2008...this pc comes with an Anytime upgrade, but it cannot be used anylonger...maybe cause my 1 year warranty ran out...or maybe after i got SP2...just type in upgrade in the start search box, lower left hand corner...it will go too your pc upgrade page....if you are still on warranty, hopefully you can get windows 7.....also on that upgrade page, check too see if your PC can upgrade too windows 7....download Upgrade Advisor and see...this download is safe...whatever you do,do something towards the upgrade before your warranty runs out...when it does,HP and MS make you pay for help....unless you come too places like this....also,if you are on warranty...CALL HP and get the FREE back up RECOVERY DISC for your 32 bit pc...also see if they will offer you a FREE OS disc...cause just like you,me and new buyers,i assumed a OS disc came with it...NOT....i tried too get 1 well after my 1 year warranty ran out...i thought i heard HP laughing in the background...if you can get a free OS disc during your warranty period, let new buyers here know plz....
