I have 22 updates that are currently waiting to be updated and every time time i update them they say that they have been completed and to restart my computer. But when I restart my computer to let them finish they say they were configured incorrectly and then they do not finish. Whats my problem?

what service pack you got on the machine? and what windows are you running.. pretty sure its a vista.. If you have service pack 1 installed .. you need to go on add and remove program and uninstall previous updates.. then reinstall the service pack 1 and then the service pack 2..

reinstall service pack 1. by downloading it from the location I previously posted to you..
then download and install the service pack 2.. you have corrupted updates.. this may result to be a more serious problem with time,..
If it dont work, put your windows cd and run a "WINDOWS RREAPIR" chkdsk /r
then install the updates for service pack 2
