TV Tuners

Hi all,
As you know they plan to convert TV to digital at the end of the year. I was wondering instead of buying a converter box, could I buy a PCI X or PCI X16 tv tuner card to put in my PC and it would work?

Yes you can buy PCI Digital TV cards, Down here in Australia we are also switching to Digital TV...Here is a screenshot of my Compro T100 PCI digital tv card...

You also get way more channels using digital...
(I just happened to be watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when I saw this post)

Digital TV cards are really cheap (about $40 down here fot the compro t100 like mine) compared to every other Digital TV Device..:eek:
