I have a an ATI TV Wonder Pro 650HD (PCI) running under Vista 64 with 4gig of RAM without issue. It's not a PCI-e though.

With regards to the jerkiness, I've seen this when, a-the drivers are not loaded, or b-the drivers are loaded but the system hasn't been restarted.

Also, are you overclocking? If so, try turning it down and check the results.

yes also have apci card digital and a sat card there are no problems with these
its something with the way pci-e cards access the extra ram

drivers are fine with less then 4 gig of ram

no overclocking at all

I was just curious, my systems moderately OC, but I don't have any issues. Note the word moderately :)

At any rate, did you figure out your TV tuner problem? And what card do you have? I hear the ATI TV Tuner cards seem to be problematic, especially VisionTek's. I will say I’ve had my VisionTek RMA'd twice, and though I don't have any "problems" per se, I'm not exactly impressed with this replacement's image quality. :(

And VisionTek's tech support? Well...

no only it has to do with running 4 gig or more of ram and its only pci-e cards that seem to have the problem

pci cards are twinhan
pci-e cards are digitalnow cards

digital now cards are exellent price and pic quality im hoping they figure the problem soon
the biggest problem is not enough people using them in vista64 with 4 gig or more of ram so its not a high priority for anyone

Whats the best way to watch TV on my Laptop ?
something that we can just put in usb & its set

I have Vist Ultimate 64 bit

usb stick will work
depending on how good your reception is in your area as you might not be able to pick up a good enough signal on the small aerial that you uasally get when you buy a usb dvb-t
so you could be stuck having to watch tv near your main antenna outlet

cheers brad
