TV Tuner Setting

I am trying to set-up my TV settings and the windows media center is only scanning for digital air signals. I thought it might be my TV tuner card because my windows media center on my other computer work fine finding my cable TV. So I switch cards and the same thing happen with the second card. I tried Total media and it appears to be fine with either cards on the computer in which I am having the issues. Any thoughts?

There is much more to building an HTPC than just adding a tuner..it's all relative to makes and models of components plus the OS etc. Best advice I can give is to go join XPMediaCenter and search for your answer or ask the question...you will find your answers there.
