Hey, I was just finishing up touches on my new PC I plan to buy, but now I'm seeing theres a whole bunch of issues that occur with sound cards. I was originally planning to get the Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Champion edition, but I hear that is glitchy, anyone have reccomendations, or is it infact decent with Vista?

My Specs:

Asus STRIKER II Extreme Motherboard (nForce 790i)

Thermaltake DuOrb Cooling Fan
XFX nVidia GTX 280

nice rig.....;)
think i would have gone with ATI for the 4xxxs

If you're worried about Vista support, get an Asus Xonar DX sound card. It has the same, if not better capabilities than the XtremeGamer for the same price.
