Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, as I dont think it is a Vista problem, but for months I have been having problems with IE8 not responding. The problem was intermittent but occuring on a daily basis and despite searching various internet forums nothing seemed to resolve the problem.
I then happened to read a thread about Trusteer Rapport which I had installed a few months ago after being prompted when logging on to my bank.
This seems to have been the cause of the problem. I uninstalled it a couple of days ago using Revo uninstaller and since then the problem has disappeared.
I just thought this may be of interest or assistance to others.
