I was cleaning my computer and accidently uninstalled my realtek audio drive. I immediately re downloaded and installed it but now my sound doesnt work. My sound icon isnt X'd out or anything, I'm just not getting sound. I'm sorry if I'm not providing enough information, but any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

ummm... lets see if I can give more info...

Vist
Service Pack 2
AMD Phenom(tm) 9500 Quad Processor 2.2 GHz
23 bit operating system

edit: I think it might have something to do with the fact that I'm using an HD TV screen and my sound comes through that... but I dontknow how to fix it.

cool, i fixed it :D heres how! 1) Right click the "speaker" icon on the bottom right corner of your screen (next to the date and time) 2) Select "Playback Devices" 3) In the new pop up windows, Right click the HDMI icon and select "Set as Default" 4) Now start a movie clip, you should have sound and video on your HDTV
