Trojan Horse Agent 2.DVM

I've been dealing with a strain of popups popping up everytime I open a new IE7 browser. I allowed my AVG to scan and it detected three Trojan horses. They're all named "Trojan Horse Agent 2.DVM." I can't really heal or 'move to vault' the darn thing because a message shows up saying something about requested action denied and how I can't access the file location. I also had my Norton do some work and it pinpointed a fourth file named "C:\\Windows\svidplg.dll." I tried to find out where that file was, but no luck.

This has been going over for about three days and it's really getting on my nerves. I would seek technical assistance, but then I'm afraid all my needed documents will be erased. Maybe someone can help me here?

Chances are your system is so corrupted/comprimised that nothing short of a re-install will fix your system.

I would backup User data files to DVD's (do not backup to an external or dvd that contains other data as chances are good the data you backup will be infected).

then If possible run these (to remove the malware if possible, and hopefully without data file corruption*):

Avira Antivir (downloadable free software)
Avira is one of the best Antivirus vendors on the market. ((AV-comparative 2008)

Avast! (Alwil) (downloadable free software)
Free Home Edition antimalware progam.

Malwarebytes.org
ESET SysInspector

* alot of polymorphic malware (trojans) alter the files, and when they are subsequently "cleaned" it damages the file, and corrupts it.

Well. I had ran a malware device, which cleaned out everything but the viruses. I figured the virus is dealt within my 'system32' area, and is some sort of video. It also was something along the lines of 'xvid' or something. I'll look into it and see if I can find the file and 'destroy' it.
