transferred everything to new case..monitor won't turn on!!

Hey everyone, I got a new case for my pc. I took everything from my Dell Inspiron 531s and put it in the new case. When everything was plugged in I turned the computer on, but the monitor says Digital Input Auto Detect: Entering Power Save
It does it every time. I took the video card out and back in and tried again, nothing. I took the video card out and tried my integrated VGA port, and still nothing. I am not sure, but is my primary hard drive supposed to be plugged in to SATA 0? Could this be a problem? And there is a loose cable called the P4 cable, is that required to be plugged in? I really am worried and need my computer to work, so thank you and any help would be apprecited.

The P4 cable is an additional cable required for some motherboards with pentium processors.

It is a power cable, refer to your motherboard manual to see if it is required.

Your computer is not sending a video signal or the cable may be damaged, check for bent pins.

When booting your computer press the DEL key, this will put your computer into the bios screen bypassing the boot sequence. If you see a display then you know it is not a hardware problem.

If you pass this inspection, you may want to boot in Safe Mode, uninstall your Video & Monitor drivers, restart and install a fresh copy of those 2 drivers again... don't forget to do so with "Run as Administrator".

Your video & monitor drivers may have become corrupted in the transition to the new case. If that was not the case... I am stumped and it must be cable related.!
