this is really annoying me now (help)

just got a g15 keyboard and im trying to assign a Gkey to control pannel/system
the microsoft keyboard shortcut for this is windows key + break/pause

this shortcut won't work with assigned to a Gkey for some reason


so i went into the control pannel created a desktop shortcut by right clicking system
then went to the shortcuts properties and created a new keyboard shortcut for this
ctrl + alt + 1 and that worked

but soon as i move the shortcut anywhere other than my desktop the keyboard shortcut no longer works but the shortcut its self still works

its got me beat

Translated: I dunno, I haven't tried to program much on the G15 yet lol. Can I assume you read the directions?

mate they didnt have Vista in WWII if they did england would be called germany now
cos everyone would have been to busy trying to get it to work

i have no problem with any other shortcuts just this one you try bet you can't get windowskey + break working with a Gkey

this is the most stupid thing and i havent a clue why its like this but here is how i got windows + break keyboard shortcut to work via the g15 Gkeys

goto control panel (classic view ) right click system and create shortcut.
then open my computer C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu
and drag the shortcut into there and right click it goto properties and create a keyboard shortcut ctrl + alt +any and assign this to a gkey.

i have no idea why the keyboard shortcut will only work with the icon on the desk top or in the start menu folder but i can't stand icons on my desktop
and if you have read this far you just as sad as me
