The Sims 3: How Many Mods are Too many?

Hi!
I am a regular player of the Sims 3 and I'm sure that many of you are too :D My game has been running perfectly on my laptop, even with a few mods. However, after I reached to 204 mods with about 202 MB, my sims 3 game started getting REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEALLLLY SLOOOOOOOOOOOW ( app. 1-2 hours of loading ). How many mods are too many? I had heard people had thousands of mods without having a problem with the game. BTW i have World Adventures too. If you can, can you help me find a way to not delete my mods but help run my game faster? THANKS!

You could have 10,001 mods if they integrate smoothly with the game code and you have enough RAM and processor power.

I run Grand Theft Auto San Andreas with scads of mods. I love that game. Some mods, though, my computer just can't handle like the Infinite Draw mod and some of the crazier script mods that can smoke an old video card.

clean your computer. run defrags, use c cleaner, anti virus scan, i suggest that you use perfect disk 11 to defrag. update video drivers.
