Ok... I admit... I'm a sucker for good old no frills shooters. But where are the truly awesome and great ones??? I have 2 installed currently and I would love to extend the amount a bit. I'm looking for flashy modern action here, so don't suggest old classics like RAPTOR or something else that would require a DOS virtual machine.
Geometry Wars - The one to which all are compared... Awesome!!!
Everyday Shooter - Really odd and artsy, but darn it's fun.. Even though the analog control of the shooting direction is borked.
(Both available on (but not limited to) steam)
