Well I am sertenly glad you uploaded it. I destroyed my 32-bit version (home premium, compatible apparently). I downloaded and burned a modified vista install cd that only has repairoptions (my recovery disk does not have them) and install feature removed to make it at least sort of legal and easier to burn. I knew it was coming handy some day . I guess ill be burning a disk with all system32 dlls and sys files in a month or so... might also be coming handy.
Anyway, I typed copy F:\tcpip.sys (usb drive) C:\windows\system32\drivers and awnsered yes when promped. Now I can boot again! Thanks! I owe you guys! I love this forum! People are so social an caring, and uploading systemfiles!
Keep up the good work!
hello
this is my first post here and i dont know if i posted it in the right section.
i used a tweaked tcpip.sys file and now that file is causing a BSOD every time i boot up my windows. i m using windows vista ultimate x64. i ve seen a similar problem on this forum and somebody attached the original tcpip.sys file but now the file is removed.
can someone please help me by attaching this file so that i can replace the corrupt one?
i m so dumb and i didnt do any backup to the file...
Hello Alincioaba,
You can also do a System Restore using a restore point dated before you changed the file to fix this if one is available.

If not, here is a copy of my "tcpip.sys" file. It's from a 32-bit Vista Ultimate, so I'm not sure if it will work in your 64-bit one or not.
