Teredo IPV6 Pseudo-tunnelling interface.

Question.

I accidentally uninstalled my Teredo IPV6 Psuedo-tunneling interface. I figured it would re-install itself after a re-boot like many built in drivers do, but it did not. I have googled it trying to find a suitable download source, but no luck. Is there any way to re-install, or find a source to download a replacement driver, maybe a link.

Are you using IPv6 to connect? If your not sure then your probably not. IPv6 really isn't used yet so its not a big deal. It causes more headaches then its worth.

But if you really want to re-install it go ahead. This thread states typing this into the command prompt then rebooting the machine: ipv6 install

Then after it is installed just disable it, don't un-install it.

No I am not using it to connect. But your insight into whether it is worth the effort is appreciated. That is what I thought. I think I will wait until I need it. Good to know there is a way to replace it if needed. Thank you.

No problem :) yeah, usually when IPv6 is enabled it can cause signal drop, and other random things. Not worth it lol.
