Does windows vista automatically create system restore points like windows xp does? Because I have windows vista with the system restore enabled and it is not automatically creating restore points? Help

Windows Vista creates restore points on specified events such as installations but also during system scheduled times. The exact times are unknown to me. Please make sure that system restore is on. Hope this helps.

how do i know if it's on? and i am pretty sure it is. but it still doesn't automatically create restore points.
