On September 8th, my Sony Vaio laptop, which had been working fine, all of a sudden started to completely freeze up. I re-formatted my hard drive and the problem persisted. I even got a brand new hard drive. A Sony technician recently told me that a Vista update has been crashing computers. I don't have a recovery disk, nor can I get my computer to even start anymore. Is this true or could it be a motherboard issue? Thanks!
