Hello ian27766,

Welcome to the forums.

Have your daughters ever gotten logged in to their accounts? The first time they log on, Windows will take a little time to build the desktop, etc. Shouldn't take too long though. Are they able to log in from boot up?

Have you always had this problem or did it just start? Do you have a system restore point before this started happening? This tutorial will help if needed: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html?ltr=S

Only other thing I know to do is to create two new accounts and move any files that need saving from the old to the new accounts and then delete the old accounts. I don't think you'll be able to use the same account names though. It would probably be easiest to do this from the built in Administrator account.

I don't know of anything else to do, but others might.

Hope this is helpful.
