Solved superimposed pic on desktop

I was viewing a slide show on Snapshot, then my computer shut down. After I restarted, there was the last picture I viewed superimposed onto my desktop, along with my normal icons. How do I get rid of that picture? I deleted the picture from my files, but it is still there. Any suggestions? Help!

Hi- Richc46- Couldn't he\she, also just right click on the desktop and select personalize and then change the theme? I'm assuming that is what was changed.

If not tried yet that would work. I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that was done when he deleted the pic.

Richc46- I was surprised the system restore you recommended didn't fix it.

System Restore would work, but I dont think he went that way. He actually used the correct procedure. I assumed (when you assume you make an axx of u and me) that he went that way already. Good job my friend.

Thanks. Sometimes, the solution is the most simple one. All of us (including me) tend to look for some deeply technical reason for the cause of a problem.
