Stuck Screen Resolution

Im running windows vista 32bit with a 22" wide screen monitor, i have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 285 graphics card. I cant remember the exact resolution i was running, but when i booted up this morning my resolution has gone down to 1024x768 and i cant adjust it any higher then that! Ive tried uninstalling the driver and re installing but same ol same ol. Any suggestions?

Can you open up the Nvidia control panel and see if you can adjust the display resolution there?

Yeh its the same maxxed out at 1024x768
