Strange Sleep Issue

Hi. I'm having a strange issue with vista and it not sleeping after the given time set in power options within the power plan. If I press the power button on my PC the PC sleeps (as I've set it to), When I go to Start and click the "Power" button it also sleeps. Vista is currently set to go to sleep after 60 minutes ion the balanced power plan and it never does, I really can't understand it, especially as it woks fine when I do it manually.

I hope someone out there can help me out with this as it's quite annoying. Does vista keep a log of what might be stopping it from sleeping after the given time?

Thanks.

Are you sure you have configured it correctly? Also sometimes being connected to a power supply can make vista stay awake unless you have set it to go to sleep even plugged in. Some things can also wake vista to run...

I'm pretty sure it's configured correctly. I'm using the same settings that I had when Vista 32-bit was installed and that worked fine. For some reason Vista just won't put the system to sleep based on a time setting.

EDIT: A little more to go on. I went into MSCONFIG disabled all non-Microsodt services and rebooted. I then set the sleep timer to 1 minute. After a minute Vista put my PC to sleep. So, the obvious thing is that at least one of the services running is stopping sleep from working. Now to find out which one...
