Strange lines on monitor

Hi there:

I've been having dotted horizontal lines on my monitor for awhile now( see attached picture). Those are more visable when playing games like Flight Simulator.

I even changed my cable to DVI ,and upgraded video card ( nVIDIA GeForce GTX280) to the latest drivers.

What you think those could be? I know it's not overheating. Could it be a bad video card or monitor?

I have Windows Vista x64 on an Asus P6T Deluxe Intel X58 motherboard with 12GB RAM and an Intel i7 Extreme processor 965 with a Sceptre widescreen 22" monitor and a Thermaltake V1 cooling Fan with 800 watts power supply.

Any help is appreciated...:D

Thanks, Kaue.

That's not a problem at all, it's just there because the colors are fading to a lighter/ or darker, color, depending on how you look at it. It's how 3d cards fade colors.

    My computer has annoying freezes...
I just looked at the same picture today and the lines are gone... I guess it shows up after a few hours playing or using the internet.

I wonder if it has something to do with the cooling system.
