Sprint Palm Centro total PITA - sorry for the rant

And away we go....

I have the centro for a year now, it's the worst phone I ever had.:mad::mad::sick::mad::mad::mad:

External speaker is held out w/ a piece of a credit card.
Buttons way too small ( I don't text )
Can't hear it, have to really push against ear.
No sound prompt that a call/voicemail was missed.
Gets hot on a 2min call.
I refused the $7/month warranty crap-too late now.
Apps are too expensive. free ones suck. (i bought beyond contacts for the ability to offload mail from outlook and it sucks too)
Getting on the net is a joke, the browser has no back button nor does any other apps.
:cry:I can go on for another hour; I'm sorry to put you through this so far:cry:

I'm stuck for another 14months.
$68/mo and I'm freakin out.
I've had Palm since 2000 on a kyocera 6035 it was awesome until the flip thing died. (I know, real old)

Anyone else have the palm?
Do you have any free apps that work well?:o

Thanks for reading,

Carmine

I was thinking of that for two months now.
I'm still grandfathered in from JP Morgan Chase.
I get 1000mins during day unlim ngts/wknds and internet (that I no longer use)
New service would be $59+tax=$72 (just my line)
New phone free or $150(smartphone)

PS I forgot to say I also have another line for my father to contact me and for his safety.(200mins unlmtd nts/wknds)
It would cost $175 for my line and $175 for his.
Still $350 from $952 I'd still save $602.....

Thanks rive0108, I'm gonna sleep on it.

I'm with verizon Wireless and I have a palm centro and I've only had a little bit of problems but other than that I don't mind it although right now It's just being used an internet modem because my husband and I have a blackberry pearl.

I've had really crappy luck with phones but so far (knock on wood) it's been about 2 months and I've had no problems with my blackberry!

I would say why not just cancel your contract, and go with at&t, Verizon. somewhere like that!
